Turn expectations into an agenda
Founders may share a business idea while differing on growth, income or day-to-day involvement. Describe the intended activity, customers and initial resources. Separate money, work and other proposed contributions, including when they will be provided and how they will be evaluated.
Discuss ownership and management separately
A share percentage does not explain who approves payments, signs contracts or hires staff. Assign proposed responsibilities and discuss disagreement over major decisions. Company form and authority require legal review; a working responsibility chart does not replace formal corporate documents.
Compare incorporation records and private arrangements
MERSİS is the official system used for company and business registry procedures. Completing a form should not be assumed to address every expectation between founders. Compare the draft constitution, any shareholders’ arrangement and the funding plan for inconsistencies.
Consider departure before operations begin
Discuss withdrawal from daily work, share transfers and new investment. Clarify expectations about brands, software and customer records developed together. Exit and competition wording from generic templates requires review in context. Bring contribution lists and unresolved questions to the meeting.

Frequently asked questions
Does ownership determine all management powers?
Ownership, management and representation are distinct issues. Company form and relevant documents require joint review.
Can we meet before incorporation?
